1952 CHEVROLET CUSTOM TWO DOOR SEDAN
This 1952 Chevrolet has been cruising the streets of South East Queensland for the last three decades and has been regularly seen at events throughout all that time. Many parts are in completely original and unrestored condition. This cool cruiser was built from a survivor 4 door sedan. Genuine two door doors were used in the two door conversion. The roof is chopped 90 mm and the current acrylic lacquer paint that is on the car has been there for around 30 years. The HK Holden front crossmember has an HQ disc upgrade and manual Commodore rack and pinion steering. The chrome smoothie wheels are 15 x 6 on the front and 15 x 7 on the rear. Driveline is a 308 cu.in V8 Holden engine with 3 speed trimatic transmission and a 1957 Chevrolet diff. The engine is balanced and has a mild cam with a 500 c.f.m Edelbrock carbie. One of custom tailights and frenched aerial. The floor pans are original as is the boot floor. The only areas showing rust development are associated with the two door modification but after 30 years that is reasonable. This is a sound car that is road proven and would make an excellent starting point for a complete rebirth or alternatively just drive it the way it is. This custom cruiser is consigned with us at Firepower Customs and Classics and is in the care of its owner in Flinders View, Ipswich Qld. Inspections are by appointment. The car is to be sold in 'as is' condition and will be de-registered upon sale.
